FAQ

The answers people ask for. If yours isn't here, email pow@onpowderdays.com.

What size should I order?

Everything runs true to size with a relaxed, slightly boxy unisex cut. If you're between sizes, size up. Full measurements live on the Size Guide. One detail worth knowing: tee measurements are the garment laid flat (take a tee you already wear and compare), while hoodie and crewneck measurements show the range of body sizes the size fits. Both notes are on the size charts.

What does "made to order" mean?

We print each piece for the order it belongs to — two people with day jobs, no warehouse, no overstock, nothing headed to a landfill in March. Better for waste, worth knowing before you order: it also means we can't take returns or exchanges for fit. Use the size chart.

How long does shipping take?

3–5 business days to print, then 3–7 business days to deliver. Door to door, usually 1–2 weeks. Free on all US orders. We don't ship internationally yet. Why the wait? Because your piece doesn't exist until you order it. The mountain will still be there.

What comes with my order?

The piece you ordered. Orders of $50 or more also ship with a Snorkel Skier sticker.

What if my order arrives damaged or wrong?

Email pow@onpowderdays.com with your order number and a photo within 30 days of delivery. We'll send a replacement at no charge. You don't need to ship anything back.

What if I ordered the wrong size?

Made-to-order means we can't accept returns or exchanges for fit. The size chart is there for a reason. If you're between sizes, size up.

Who are you?

A married couple in Salt Lake City with day jobs. Short version: we made this for our friends and it leaked. The longer version is on Who's Behind This and the Manifesto.

Where is this actually made?

The blanks are cut and sewn by Stanley/Stella and AS Colour — chosen because they're the heaviest, best-built blanks we could find. Printed in the US when you order. Designed in Salt Lake City, in traffic on the 210.

Is this just another print-on-demand store?

The printing method is the same one everyone has access to. The blanks aren't — most stores won't pay for 350gsm organic. Neither is the writing. You be the judge of the rest.

What's the snorkel skier?

The mark on the back of every garment. A skier wearing a snorkel — because when the snow is over the goggles, it's the only way to breathe. It's ours.

What do all the slogans mean?

Some are obvious. Some are Wasatch-specific. The Decoder has translations for the ones that aren't.

How should I wash my OPD piece?

Wash cold inside out, hang dry. Skip the dryer. The slogan is the point — keep it readable.

Do you do custom orders or wholesale?

Not yet. Email pow@onpowderdays.com if you want to be on the list when we do.

What blanks do you use?

Stanley/Stella for the hoodies, crewnecks, and tees — 350gsm or 180gsm, GOTS-certified organic cotton. AS Colour 5081 for the long sleeve — premium heavyweight cotton. Specifics live on each product page under Material & Care and Blank.

Can I see the products in person before buying?

Not yet. When we have a retail partner in the Wasatch, we'll say so here.
